Audi Sportback

The Audi Sportback range is likely to be extremely popular. Although Audi is actually older than 100 years old, it wasn’t officially known as Audi until 2010. Audi feels this is the right time to reveal the prices and the complete specification of their A5 Sportback, which will hit UK Audi showrooms in October of this year.

It will be in a five door form, and slightly longer when directly compared with the current A5 Coupé. This accommodates extra passengers and luggage. The current spec shows that it will have 480/980 litres of luggage space depending on whether the rear seats are in place.

As far as power plants are concerned, four engines will be available, this will include a 168bhp 2.0 TDI turbo diesel, which is likely to be the most popular thanks to the incorporation of a start stop system. A 208bhp 2.0 TFSI turbo petrol, a 237bhp 3.0 TDI and a 261bhp 3.2 FSI V6 will complete the line up. They will have seven speed semi automatic transmission systems as standard.

Prices for the range will start at just £25,440 which offers excellent value for money. Of course, if you have deep pockets you can splash out as much as £36,220 plus optional extras if needs be.
