2011 Audi S5
The 2011 Audi S5 Cabrio is in for some minimal but effective modification, courtesy of Awe Tuning - a Philadelphia-based tuner specializing in German automobiles.
The tuning kit comprises of a new exhaust system which lets the 3.0-L V6 in the convertible to churn out an extra 8 hp and 9 Nm of torque more than the stock figures. The tuner claims that the exhaust sound will feel like music to the ears, with frequency-tuned Helmholtz noise cancellation resonators to eliminate low rpm drone in the 1000-2200 rpm range. The system is fabricated from mandrel-bent 2.5” T304 Stainless Steel. An X-Pipe provides for an improved cylinder scavenging and exhaust tone.
